Information on SFC Credit & UTAP Balance:

All SFCCA Courses are now eligible for Singapore government SFC Credit Claim as well as NTUC UTAP Reimbursement up to 31 March 2025/ as renewed.

SFC Credit: Singapore Citizens who are 25 years old and above receive an opening SFC of SGD 500 while those who are 40 years old and above receive their SGD 4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career). Also see.

UTAP for NTUC members: Membership is open to persons above 16 years of age with valid NRIC/FIN number, with exclusions. UTAP reimbursement is fixed at 50% of the course fees paid out-of-pocket, capped at SGD 250 or SGD 500 per calendar year (depending on member's eligibility). See UTAP page for more information.

SFC-UTAP supports individual-initiated training only. It does not cover training provided by employers, who must pay the full course fees i.e., in these instances, Learners cannot use their SFC to offset the course fees.

Review self-eligibility by reviewing the course brochure

Apply for the course:

As a SFCCA member by email of your KYC entered on JoinIt when setting up the annual membership fee card payment (scroll down to end); OR
-
As a Non-Member Learner by email of your KYC entered on JoinIt (Click here)

In both cases email details to training@sfcca.com.sg additionally providing a redacted copy of your NRIC with only the last 4 characters visible

Receive Payment Invoice by email: the course has a specific start and end date indicated in the Invoice (your Application ID is the invoice number)

Make payment of balance due to SFCCA after SFC Credit claim, by FAST to UEN 202006984D – send a snapshot to training@sfcca.com.sg

A Receipt will be emailed by SFC

Commence and complete course by last date
-
Make reimbursement by submitting UTAP claim, within 6 months after course

TWO OPTIONALS
1) CISI Dual Track Certification

Singaporeans making an SFC and/or UTAP claim are not required to do the CISI regulatory module, albeit encouraged to do so - visit the CISI page to enrol

CISI members undertaking the Dual Certification have a reduced SFCCA course fee
2) Annual Membership Fee

This is if you seek membership of SFCCA/ seek to use the designations.
